“Ok God”
That’s what I said privately before God made “Busy Billy” public.
I’m so grateful that I serve a God that is patient and reliable. “Ok God” was a complete declaration that I will stop hindering myself. For way too long I was allowing fear to have a capital “F” in my life. Fear had the spotlight and centre stage. “Ok God” was actually the beginning of a sentence. “Have your way” is what followed and that was one of the best decisions that I made in my life.
It’s funny how we (humans) think that we need to control or remind God of our environment, circumstance, and capabilities. My faith in God needed to change and I knew that. I needed to put my faith into action.
Surrendering to God was definitely the first step in this journey. The “Ah Ha” moment was when I realized that I really cannot do anything without God. I knew that the process of writing, promoting, networking and selling this book would take me out of my comfort zone. The fear of the unknown was making me freeze.
I became really honest with God through prayer. I knew and felt that He was listening and I saw Him orchestrate many things throughout this journey. Prayer was the soundtrack in my life.
